  • Incipio Feather Sony Xperia ZL Case in Black Incipio Feather Case for Sony Xperia ZL in Black

The latest addition to Sony's XPeria line of smartphones – the XPeria ZL – is just starting to be released. That's something we've been looking forward to at Pure Mobile ever isnce the phone was just unveiled. And now that it's finally here, we're welcoming it with a great new Sony cell phone accessory, the Incipio Feather Xperia ZL case.

One of the most interesting features of the ZL is that, for a 5-inch device, it's actually pretty slim. In fact, Sony claims it's the most compact such device on the market.

So adding a ton of bulk to it with a clumsy carrying case wouldn't make much sense. But, as with Incipio's Feather case for other phone models, their Xperia ZL case is notably lightweight. Actually, it's their lightest and slimmest case.

But don't let that fool you into thinking that it's not also tough as nails. Its high-density polycarbonate construction means the Feather is great at protecting your phone from bumps and shocks, and of course from scratches too. And it also includes a screen protector to keep all sides of your device clean, protected and scratch free.

As far as Sony mobile carrying cases go, you'd be hard pressed to find one that's as in tune with the design of the device it protects. With a smooth, matte black finish and a shape that barely deviates from the phone's original contours, the Feather XPeria ZL case is as close as it gets to not using a case at all, in terms of looks. Lightweight, and with a "barely there" look, we'd vote that it's one of the best accessories for one of the best Sony cell phones we've seen yet.
