The announcement came on Tuesday that the mobile market will be looking to move closer to mobile payments, a technology that many companies have been supporting but, they have not been able to keep up with recently. Google recently debuted their upcoming Google wallet technology, which will utilize users to make mobile payments through a number of different means. So far, a number of other companies have Artie join the fray and have teamed up with the company Isys in order to bring mobile payments to the masses.

So far Sprint has not joined the group, but could be jumping on board with everything soon if everything goes as planned. The company has been looking to get as many large credit card payment companies as well as carriers into the fray as possible. It will be interesting to see if any more companies jump on board in the coming days and weeks, and which ones are going to be able to bring mobile payment technology to unlocked cell phone users such as unlocked Sony Ericsson XPERIA PLAY 3G, in a quick and timely fashion.

it is no secret that mobile payments are exactly where the industry is heading in the future, but there was a lot that needs to happen before it can become the norm. • Android Activations Climbing Daily
Posted on July 18, 2011 by Pure Mobile

It appears as if the Google Android operating system is more popular than it has ever been. With more and more people joining the Android operating system marketing line, the company is seeing more and more activations of smart devices on their service each and every day. Analysts have said that the Android operating system such as unlocked Samsung Galaxy S II is going to continue to grow moving forward and could be the most popular mobile operating system on the planet in just a few short years. Research showing us that throughout the second quarter nursing an additional 555,000 Edward Smart phones being activated each and every day around the world. That is a huge number; it shows that the system is having a huge spike in their user base.

It will be interesting to see if they can continue to build upon their user base as more devices are released. In June, the activations were growing at a rate of 4.4% from one week to the next. This is a huge growth in a very short amount of time and it is clear that the Google Android operating system is not only here to stay, in all likelihood be the world’s biggest operating system for mobile devices in the coming years. Two months ago Google stated that they were activating a total of 400,000 devices each and every day, and that number has been steadily climbing since that time. There are more than 100 million Android devices around the world that are currently running the software, with a number that is climbing toward 130 million by the time Google goes to announcer figures next month.

As things look now, 200 million devices is not really that far out of reach for the company. They have been able to put together an excellent array of different devices as in Unlocked Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc that utilize their software, and are continually updating for more devices as well. They have good range of devices from the super cheap; all the way up to the major Smart phones can cost hundreds of dollars.

  • Sony Ericsson Receives Reviews from FCCThe unlocked Sony Ericsson (txt pro) phone that has been the talk of a lot of recent news stories, has been examined by the FCC. The FCC review and examination process is one that is mostly secretive, and not much is revealed about what they look for mobile devices. Many of the manufacturers usually choose to keep the majority of the information regarding the details and features of the device confidential for the screen by the FCC, in an effort to avoid leaks that we’ve seen in the past. The device has already been the subject is a huge Facebook advertising campaign, one that allowed a certain number of users to get their hands on the device early, so long as they would agree to review it on the official Facebook fan page for the Sony Ericsson txt pro.

Sony Ericsson Receives Reviews from FCC

As the name suggests, the Sony Ericsson txt pro unlocked was mainly targeted toward those that text on a regular basis. It has a slide out keyboard similar to that of the sidekick, and is laid out in a way that should make texting intuitive and easy to do. This is something that a number of manufacturers have done in recent months. Creating niche-based phones for certain subsets of users, allows them to make cheap phones that still appeal to the users that they are looking to target. The Sony Ericsson txt pro has been fairly efficient this. The phone also has a GSM 850/1900 bands that will make it compatible with both AT&T and T-Mobile. However, the phone could be limited to those carriers and may not see a release on other carriers at any point in the near future. It will be interesting to see Sony Ericsson releases another version of the Sony Ericsson txt pro should this one become popular. It is based toward a subset of younger individuals, most likely high school-age, so we may not know the full ramifications of the release of the device and the new school year.

  • Experts Say Cell Phones Do Not Cause CancerA number of studies have been released in recent months that state that cell phones can cause cancer, typically brain cancer, and those that use them on a regular basis. The most recent report that stated this was released by the World Health Organization which stated that they believe that cell phones are possibly carcinogenic. This report was quickly followed by another report that was released by The Economist best a completely the opposite. In their report they stated that it was not possible for the radio waves that are released by unlocked cell phones such as Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, Samsung Nexus S to cause cells to me to it, therefore causing cancer. Another group of experts also studied this report, and a claim that they see no connection between the use of cell phones and cancer, primarily brain cancer.

It was only in the last 10 years that mobile phones have become commonplace for most users. This means that these types of organizations have a limited amount of data that they are able to work with, and it might be some time until we can get a better idea of which reports to believe. As of right now, it seems that most reliable experts agree that cell phones do not cause cancer. However, with 25 and 30 years of data, we may have a better idea of exactly what the percentages are of cancer in adults that do and do not use cell phones.

Experts Say Cell Phones Do Not Cause Cancer

It will be interesting to see what kind of advancements in this study is seen over the course of the next few years. It is hardly known that cell phones can cause quite a bit of damage according to the World Health Organization, but so far most other large outfits that have studied this have not agreed with the World Health Organization.

  • Sony Ericsson txt pro unlocked
Posted on June 30, 2011 by Pure Mobile

The unlocked Sony Ericsson txt pro was a very popular phone ever since it was first announced by Sony Ericsson.  One of the reasons why it has become so popular so quick is because the company announced that they would be allowing certain users a chance to cut the phone on early, as long as they agree to write a review for the phone I would be posted to the Sony website.  It was fairly easy to get involved in this competition.  First of all, users had to just answer a very basic question which would allow them to answer in 50 words or less.  This gave Sony Ericsson a good idea about the writing style, and would allow them to decide who would be getting the reviews.  This is an interesting way for them to promote a new advice that has not been out on the market as of yet, and is raised a great deal of pride and attention surrounding the release of the Sony Ericsson text Pro.

    Sony Ericsson txt pro unlocked

The Sony Ericsson txt pro will probably be a device that is very popular among the unlocked community.  There will be a number of benefits are provided to users when they decide to unlock the phone.  Some of the biggest things that users unlock their phone for include the ability to use the phone with various different other carriers that have not been available for the phone previously. Users unlock their phones will also have the ability to put together a number of different house for their device that would not normally be available to them.  This is another one of the big reasons why many people decide to unlock their phones.  You can bet that the Sony Ericsson txt pro will appeal to the younger generation which is much you’re on texting, and staying in communication through the social networks and the older generation.  It will be interesting to see how popular the Sony Ericsson txt pro unlocked becomes among the unlock community.  Certain phones seem to take off within that community, while others fall by the wayside after a short period of time.

  • New Huawei MediaPad Tablet
Posted on June 21, 2011 by Pure Mobile

New Huawei MediaPad TabletThe company Huawei has now announced their brand-new MediaTab tablet.  The new tablet will run on the Android 3.2 operating system, which is also known as honeycomb.  It will be a 7 inch tablet provided by Huawei, a company that has been looking to get into the tablet industry for quite some time.  The MediaTab will have a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, along with a nice five megapixel camera at the back of the device, accompanied by a 1.3 megapixel camera at the front of the device that will support video chats, and other great features that should make it one of the premier tablets released in recent memory.

    New Huawei MediaPad Tablet

Along with the previously mentioned features you can also look forward to a top-of-the-line WiFi network technology, and HDM I out output that will allow for you to play the tablet screen on other displays including your television set, a micro-SD card slot that will allow you to add up to 32 GB of additional storage, expanding the functionality of the device as a whole.  The Huawei media pad is one that has been highly anticipated by users for quite some time, and the specs that we have seen so far seem to deliver on the demands and expectations of their customers.  The device will supposedly have an excellent battery life that will be much longer than most of the tablets that are currently out there on the market.  At the very least, they are expected to deliver more than six hours of battery life and all.  The MediaTab is expected to launch for the first time for consumer purchases this fall.

    New Huawei MediaPad Tablet

So far the company has not indicated what the price for the tablet will be.  It is expected, that the device will be relatively low-priced in an effort to make it affordable to the average user.  Huawei is a company that has been teeming with American companies in recent times to expand their reach to North America, even though they are already quite a popular company throughout Asia for their excellent contributions to both the mobile phone market as well as the smart device market as a whole.  This will be their first tablet they have released and a lot is expected out of the Huawei MediaTab.

  • The all in analytical company, the Nielsen company, has announced that the usage of smart phone data has risen as much as 89% in the United States over the course of the first quarter of 2011.  The data consumed is rising at a very fast pace, and it appears that the largest users of data and the smart phone era or android users such as unlocked Xperia Arc, Samsung galaxy II, etc...  During the same period of time during 2010, the average smart phone user only used about 230 MB of data on their device.  However last quarter, the number went up significantly, about 89%, to as much as 435 MB of data over that same period of time.  The heaviest amounts of data that was used among the top 10% of all users of smart phones went from 1.8 GB during that quarter to 4.6 GB during that quarter.  Keep in mind, that these are the largest users of data in the smart phone era, and are not representative of all smart phone users.

    Smartphone Data Rises Significantly

However, during the same amount of time the average cost to the user or per megabyte for smart phone data, dropped as much as 46% over that same period.  This shows that data is becoming progressively less expensive for most users, and shows that even though the amount of data that is being used is going up, it does appear to be getting cheaper.  The largest majority of users use very small amounts of data.  The largest amount of data was used by users in the 99th and 98th percentile, who used the bulk of the data that was gathered.  The cost of data per megabyte was $.14 in the first quarter of 2010.  This number dropped all the way down to eight cents per megabyte last quarter.

It is interesting to see that android users are the largest users of data.  One would think that I phone users would be the largest users of data based on the number of people that own them.  Perhaps the low level of intrigue that makes the unlocked iPhone 4 so popular is one of the reasons why users do not use as much data.  Also, the fact that it is a closed interface could lead to more users using less data than Android users, which utilize an open interface.
