PalmOne, established in 1992, is a leading producer and seller of mobile computing devices. Since their inception, they have been empowering people to easily access and share important information through their Palm handhelds, messaging and communication devices.

The company introduced two lines which each targeted a separate market of consumers. The PalmOne Tungsten line was aimed towards those always on move and who require devices to communicate as well as manage data and information.

The PalmOne Zire line was aimed at the general consumer.

To counter the problems of cabling and wires, the company launched Palm Treo smartphones, which serve as mobile GSM phones and full-featured PDAs. Although somewhat limited in functions, they are compatible with nearly all the applications created for the Palm OS.

Treo smartphones have a built-in QWERTY keyboard for swift and competent data input, thereby resulting in quality data transfer even on the go.

The product line of Palm features an array of handheld computers. It has given consumers the leverage of managing appointments, addresses and to-do lists. Palm handheld devices enable users to easily manage their schedules, play MP3s, capture and view digital photos and video clips, and facilitate in editing Microsoft Office-compatible files.
