A recent study that was conducted by Retrovo Labs has stated that there are more than 1000 US customers report of the survey stated that they were looking for an Amazon tablet, assuming that it was the right price. If 5% of those surveyed said that they wanted to see an Amazon tablet at some point in the near future. 31 percent of those surveyed stated that they were looking for a tablet device from Motorola phone comparatively 31% of those surveyed stated that they wanted to see Hewlett-Packard device. Other highly scoring companies including Samsung Intel, both of whom received 38% of the vote.
Only 24% of those surveyed said that they weren’t looking for a device from Research In Motion. 21% also said Barnes & Noble, coming in last place on the survey. It will be interesting to see if they are able to put together a tablet in response to service such as this one. It appears that there is a huge section of the market that is eagerly awaiting Amazon to make a tablet device. It will be interesting to see if they are able to respond to calls from the market that has supported them. It is a bit strange considering that Amazon is not particularly thought of as a technology company that produces products, and more so as a web store, but the recent changes that have been made by the company have changed their view with the public that is generally happy with the devices that they have released as their Internet book reading sales are off the charts. It will be interesting to see if the tablet that they do someday release meets or exceeds the demands of those that are eagerly awaiting the release of any tablet that they have. It will be interesting to see if they are able to release a tablet at some point in the very near future.
