Apple is currently looking at a number of different possibilities for their upcoming unlocked iPhone releases. One of the things that the company is reportedly considering with the upcoming release of the iPhone six which is not currently being developed or scheduled is that they are going to be looking at working with a curved touchscreen. A number of other devices as of late have over the course of the past year or so. The curved touchscreen display is one that they have been working on for quite some time and is not currently the norm but is expected to become at some point in the very near future.
So far, the company has not released any official information, but Apple was reportedly contacted a number of their iPad, iPhone glass supply companies, including Lens Technology, G-Tech and Fuji Crystal to get an idea of exactly whether or not they will be able to help them in the long run. Her glass displays are not typical for smart devices and it would be interesting to see them included on the version of the iPhone after the current version is released.
To say the least, Apple has been able to put together an interesting array of different options available to users who are looking for an easy but smart smart device experience. The addition of the curved glass is a bit of a surprise, but Apple always seems to have something up their sleeve. It should be interesting to see if they are able to take that idea, run with it, and then have it become the norm. Look for Apple to confirm it at some point in the future if they are going to go with the curved glass design. We will likely have to wait quite a while for the iPhone 6 details to come anywhere close to being released to the public. I mean, we still do not even have that many details regarding the unlocked iPhone 5 at this time.
