With all the hype of the new Apple iPad there is one major downside.  There is no flash.  That means any site or game that is flash based will not work on the new iPad

During the press conference on January 27, 2010 someone over at Engadget snapped a photo showing the blue missing plugin icon for a flash object.

Granted this is not very unsurprising since the iPhone has never had flash support, but it is still frustrating.  Hopefully in the future Apple will finally.  Adobe posted a blog the other day saying that you can use it for the iPod, iPhone, and iPad.

We guess only time will tell
