February 1st, 2010

US  consumers are still eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 Unlocked Phone as it looks to be very promising. Industry insiders who have been given an early look at the smart phone mostly give it extremely high ratings. With its advanced features, sleek design, smooth interface, and limitless capabilities, it is going to Sony competitors a run for their money.

The display and design really look great. The Xperia X2 Unlocked is available in two colors: Modern Silver and Elegant Black. The touch screen is 3.2”, which is .2” larger than that of the predecessor, the Xperia X1. 64K colors are embedded with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Users can type on a QWERTY keyboard with soft keys and decent finger room. The screen automatically rotates from landscape to portrait and vice versa with accelerometer sensors.

One promising feature that many consumers look forward to is the camera. This phone is equipped with an 8 MP camera, which has characteristics such as auto focus, image stabilizer, smart contrast, and a Light Emitting Diode Flash. Video streaming is also possible with the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 camera at 30 frames per second.

Those who are interested in surfing the web will be glad to know that this gadget has an internet memory storage of 110 MB. It also supports storage of up to 16 GB, which is great news for those who want to save music, videos, and digital photos. Fast Wi-Fi connections are available via 3rd generation High Speed Downlink Packet Access. It also features Bluetooth and WLAN.

Consumers can use the X2 for entertainment, communication, and business. Not only is it designed for portable use, it can also be used at home and in the office thanks to a TV out port, which allows users to hook the device up to a larger display! Despite all the delays, US consumers are remaining hopeful that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 will come out SOON, and that it will be worth the wait.
