Are you irritated that your teenage son or daughter is constantly smsing his or her friends every day? Well don’t be as it might just make them $100,000 richer at the 2010 LG U.S. National Texting Championship. It was recently announced by LG Unlocked  Mobile Phones their decision of holding the U.S. National Texting Championship this year with cash prizes of $100,000 along with the chance of winning a trip to New York. The winner of the competition would also be able to participate in the LG Text for Good Challenge, a first time initiative, allowing the winner as well as a charity of his choosing to pocket an additional $50,000. If you plan on entering the competition, the following are a few things you need to bear in mind.

LG Texting Battle – There have already been various hit TV shows on MTV asking users to text various game phrases to a certain mobile number so as to encourage competition.

Text Attack Weekly Tournaments – If you are a fan of Facebook, you can simply log onto the LG Texter page and then choose the Play + Win! Tab. These are weekly tournaments that allow you to win big. The first ten texters each week will be able to advance to the Online Finals, thereby increasing their chances of winning the grand prize and a trip to NYC.

Bamboozle Text Battle – Any concert goers to the Bamboozle Roadshow have the opportunity of qualifying directly for the main Online Finals as all they have to do is simply text in their answers to any challenges displayed on the LED screens.

Wild Card Weeks – There are also certain weeks designated for Wild Card participants. In such weeks, users will receive a particular phrase via text and the first person that replies correctly along with the right punctuation and spelling will be able to reach the Online Finals.
