It looks as though Facebook is going to be bringing applications and credits to mobile users such as unlocked iphone 4, Sony Ericsson Arc, etc. It was first reported that the top-secret Facebook operation, Project Spartan was going to be bringing applications to the mobile web through HTML 5. Facebook was working with a number of third-party developers that they have called their “Spartans” will be looking to unveil the project later in the summer. They will also allow for mobile users to purchase credits through mobile devices in order to put together an excellent way for them to buy credits for the games. It will be interesting to see how quickly they can bring these credits to mobile by browsers by utilizing the HTML 5 makeup.
Facebook is also looking to come up with their own way that they can get around the Apple store and Google market and allow for users to get their applications without having to go through those avenues. It will be interesting to see if they are able to put together an excellent variety of different games that will be available through the HTML 5 platform.
Facebook is also looking to get rid of the implementation of flash, and utilize HTML 5 which is definitely something that Adobe is probably not looking forward to it. They’re able to put together a large amount of different games that will debut with the new mobile credits in browsers and should be able to put together an excellent offering with a large number of games for their users. Up until this point, there have been no games that have been brought to users utilizing the HTML 5. Facebook has been looking to bring games to mobile users for quite some time, such a large number of their users access their site by utilizing the mobile applications and browsers.
