  • Android MalwareMalware is something that has been present on many different Android phones such as unlocked Samsung Galaxy S II, over the course of the last few years. The recent addition to the device, a number of safeguards, to ensure that you’re able to put together a good array of different applications without having to worry at all about malware and adware. The entry market is one that has taken great steps to ensure that there is no harmful software that is rather their marketplace, but it appears that if you have snuck by in recent times. The new application that is causing so much trouble will disguise itself as the Google+ application, and then has the capability to record your phone calls, and other information through the GPS software that is installed on the phone.Google+

Yeah will install itself on various Android phones such as unlocked Sony Ericsson Xperia pro, making users think that it is a Google+ application, and will even utilize the Google+ icon to get users to download the application. This new version of the old software ANDROIDOS_NICKISPY.A, and .B. this new version of the device is called the .C version. It will be interesting to see how quickly they are able to get rid of the software on all of the different phones. At this point, it does not appear that the phone is all that widespread at this point, and is not currently listed in the interim marketplace. This is only installing on various handsets that were used by visitors that visited a malicious website. Removal of the app is just as easy as uninstalling the application and there is nothing more to it than that. It will be interesting to hear what kind of changes were made to the software in order to get it to stick with previous versions of the software ran on the operating system. Android malware is something that has been running rampant as of late and continues to be a problem that Google is doing what.

The device geared toward Facebook fans, and is being marketed as a phone that is strictly for users of Facebook. The HTC Status will knock her users to quickly update their Facebook by providing a button that is specifically for accessing the Facebook website.

The Facebook button can also be programmed to perform other tasks, which makes it very useful to users of Facebook. Any of the test program to the button after the Facebook associated, which should make the phone a very popular option for habitual users of the social network.

The device only has a 2.6 inch HP EGA touches screen display, but does have a full keyboard. It’ll run on the Android 2.3 gingerbread operating system, which has become so popular in recent years. • Android Activations Climbing Daily
Posted on July 18, 2011 by Pure Mobile

It appears as if the Google Android operating system is more popular than it has ever been. With more and more people joining the Android operating system marketing line, the company is seeing more and more activations of smart devices on their service each and every day. Analysts have said that the Android operating system such as unlocked Samsung Galaxy S II is going to continue to grow moving forward and could be the most popular mobile operating system on the planet in just a few short years. Research showing us that throughout the second quarter nursing an additional 555,000 Edward Smart phones being activated each and every day around the world. That is a huge number; it shows that the system is having a huge spike in their user base.

It will be interesting to see if they can continue to build upon their user base as more devices are released. In June, the activations were growing at a rate of 4.4% from one week to the next. This is a huge growth in a very short amount of time and it is clear that the Google Android operating system is not only here to stay, in all likelihood be the world’s biggest operating system for mobile devices in the coming years. Two months ago Google stated that they were activating a total of 400,000 devices each and every day, and that number has been steadily climbing since that time. There are more than 100 million Android devices around the world that are currently running the software, with a number that is climbing toward 130 million by the time Google goes to announcer figures next month.

As things look now, 200 million devices is not really that far out of reach for the company. They have been able to put together an excellent array of different devices as in Unlocked Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc that utilize their software, and are continually updating for more devices as well. They have good range of devices from the super cheap; all the way up to the major Smart phones can cost hundreds of dollars.

  • According to a number of recent reports, Microsoft is now asking that Samsung pay $15 licensing fee for every Android smart phone that it makes. Yes, you heard that right. They are asking for a $15 licensing fee for every Android phone that Samsung makes. The Redmond based company said that it believed that the software patents that they currently home will cover the technology that is used in Samsung’s Android devices such as unlocked Samsung Galaxy S II. According to the history on the present subject, it looks as though Microsoft will be getting its way.

It was just last year that HTC was forced to sign an agreement that would allow for them to pay a total of $15 per device based on the patents that Microsoft already owns such as unlocked HTC 7 Surround. It expects that Samsung will return an offering for a total of $10 for each device that it creates, but the upper hand is definitely on Microsoft’s side in this case since the company also had a number of lawsuits recently with Apple, and the fact that Microsoft has teamed up with Facebook to combat the new Google social network, it appears as if every company is fighting each other on a different front. Apple has also attacked Samsung claiming that they copycat devices that they say also infringes on the patents that they have. Since they have been constantly tied up in these battles, this one seems most definitely favor Microsoft over any other organization. It will be interesting to see if they reach some sort of pre-determined amount in court, or if they come to an agreement before that. It is clear that if Microsoft takes the court that they will win, and will probably reach a similar agreement to the agreement that was reached with  HTC just last year. It will be interesting to see if Microsoft also continues to target other companies that are using their patented technology in the future.

Posted on June 29, 2011 by Pure Mobile

    The unlocked Samsung (Infuse i997) has been a very popular device since it was first announced at the consumer electronics show in January.  The device is received a lot of attention from various sources and continues to be a very popular phone for users to unlock.  There are a number of benefits are provided to the phone when you unlock it.  Some of the benefits that have forced me to unlock the phone after purchasing it include the following;

    Samsung Infuse i997 unlocked

First of all, the ability for you to utilize apps that you would not normally have access to at the device is definitely something that many users would be interested in.  There are many different apps out there that you could potentially use with the device, that are not available when you do not have it unlocked.

Also, the ability to use the device with various carriers would be something that many users would be interested in, that would not be available much to unlock the phone.  It is definitely something that I think many users would enjoy, as the carrier that the device is released for is not always the carrier that they would like to use the phone with.  This is been one of the bigger reasons why many users choose to unlock their phone when they are using it.

Overall this Samsung Infuse i997 has been a very solid released thus far.  The phone has continued to impress, and using this Samsung Infuse i997 unlocked as been a very popular choice for many users.  It provides a number of benefits that normally would not be there for the device, and desolate expanse of functionality for the device as a whole. As unlocking has grown more popular over the course of the last few years devices such of the Samsung unlocked Infuse i997 have become more commonly unlocked by users.

  • LG Optimus unlocked
Posted on June 28, 2011 by Pure Mobile

LG Optimus unlocked The unlocked LG Optimus is a device that has been highly popular since it was first announced by the company.  There are a number of things about the phone and make a differ from the previous releases.  The phone will be running on the Android 2.2 operating system, and while the specs are really not that impressive overall, there are much better than you would expect from a phone so slim.  The phone is great because the LG Optimus is much thinner than other phones on the market.  At its thickest point of his 9 mm thickness.  Out of smallest point the phone is only 6 mm in thickness.  They’re making by far one of the smallest phones with LG is ever released and is easily the most impact the mobile phone that they have released so far.  That should make the phone a highly popular phone in the unlocking community, and it is quite fun to play with.

The phone features a 4 inch nova display that has 700 nits of brightness.  The resolution on the phone is 480 x 800 and has 240 pixels per inch resolution.  The process are included in the phone will be a Texas Instruments OMAP 3630 processor with 1 GHz of power.  With 512 MB of RAM and a five megapixel rear facing along with a two megapixel front facing camera that will allow users to video chat.  The phone will also be able to record 720 Ph.D. video, which will make it an interesting device.

You can bet that the LG Optimus unlocked will be highly popular phone among the unlucky community.  There are a number of features that make the phone great for unlocking, and the ability to use his phone different carriers, Hughes asked that are not currently available in the marketplace, and to also customize other features of the phone should make it a very popular offering from LG, a company that has become known for their high quality mobile phones and other devices in recent times.

  • Google Gets Rid of Malware Posed as angry Birds AdditionsGoogle has been hard at work to get rid of the apps that have made it into their marketplace that contain malware for the Android operating system such as unlocked Samsung Galaxy II, Xperia Play from Sony Ericsson. This is the third time a batch of Android malware has been discovered and has essentially been labeled “Plankton.” Apparently the app had the ability to access a server for instructions on what the app should do next.

This is a pretty stealthy was for these developers to get their malware into the Android marketplace. With all of the questions that have arisen in recent weeks as a result of all of the malware that has been found in the Android marketplace it is apparent that Google is doing everything in their power to root out the issues.

Unlike previous apps, Plankton did not use holes in the security of the phone to attack the user, but instead called to instructions that were stored on another server to do its dirty work. They also chose to promote the app as an add on to Angry Birds, which is easily one of the most popular games in the history of mobile. It will certainly be interesting to see how these apps are packaged in the future to get an idea of what to avoid. The hackers also packaged the apps as Cheat Apps for Angry Birds, which helped the apps to spread much more quickly. Previous apps utilized trojan horses that infiltrate the phone such as LG Eve GW 620 unlocked, HTC Desire, etc.. and send text messages to numbers, driving up the cost for the user. Google continues to fight the malware attacks but it is clear that people are looking to exploit vulnerabilities in the operating system. It will be interesting to see how Google responds to these threats moving forward and whether or not they will be able to put an end to the uploading of illegal materials.

  • Since the Unlocked Samsung (Droid Charge) was released users have had to deal with a bug that really interfered with one of the main reasons that many purchased the phone in the first place. The hotspot feature was only working when you set the date on your device to sometime in May. This forced Verizon to shut off the hotspot for the time being until they could fix the bug.

    Droid Charge Hotspot Technology Back

Now, they have released an update that will continue to allow for the device to utilize the hotspot feature once again, and this time you will not have to change the date on your phone. There are a number of enhancements and additions that came along with the update. Some of the more popular updates including a much longer battery life during phone calls, a browser that works without the issues that were reported before, a new email folder setup that should make email browsing much easier, along with improved GPS performance that should make navigating more simple.

Droid Charge Hotspot Technology BackThere were many other small updates that were also included in the download which should keep users anticipating future updates as well. The update is currently being slowly rolled out to a number of different devices and you should keep an eye out for the notification that will be present on your phone before the update goes live. It is good to see that Samsung quickly addressed the issue, as the hotspot feature was one that brought in a lot of new users to the Droid charge and it was a shame to see that it did not work out of the box. Of course, the bug that was causing the issue was not one that the company was able to notice until it was no longer May, so you can not really blame them for not figuring it out until it rolled around.

  • Sprint Heightening WiMax Speeds by 50 PercentAll Sprint users are going to be happy to hear that the company will be giving them a bump in their speeds for their network. The upload speeds specifically are going to be bumped for users of the WiMax network by up to 50%, which should allow for cell phone users such as Motorola Atrix unlocked, HTC Incredible S, etc..to transfer more data in a timely fashion. However, as you might have been able to guess, there is a catch that you have to deal with if you are looking to upgrade the speeds.

The upload speeds, as of right now, have been capped at a mere 1 Megabyte per second. This means that even with the new speeds in place, you will only be able to upload at just 1.5 megabits per second. This is not all that great because Verizon is currently offering users as much as 5 to 7 megabytes per second through their 4G LTE Network, which is by far some of the fastest that the mobile industry has to offer. Although the improvement is a free one and is going to bring users something that they have never had before, you can not help but wish that they would allow for the bump to go just a little bit higher.

Sprint Heightening WiMax Speeds by 50 Percent

Sprint’s network has always been touted as one of the best but is still a few steps behind what has been offered by Verizon and other companies in recent years. Customers will notice that their speeds will increase by as much as 50% over the course of ht next few weeks, but in all the upload speed change should be hardly noticeable unless you are uploading audio and video files, and even then you will only be able to notice a bit of a difference.

It is good to see that they are making changes to keep up with the rest of the industry but you would hope that they would be able to provide users with a little more than they have with this upgrade. Their WiMax has been highly touted, but it is clear that they have a ways to go before keeping up with the leaders in the space.

  • When Microsoft announced that they were going to end the production and designing of The Courier, their upcoming tablet, fans were mad because the tablet actually looked quite promising with its dual displays that was held like a book. However, the company is still reportedly working on putting out a tablet that will be released sometime in 2012. The company will be working with Texas Instruments and other companies to release a tablet that should be released at least by the end of 2012.

Microsoft to Launch Own Tablet Sometime Next Year

So far, the Xbox console has been the best investment of devices other than Pc’s for the company, and they have not had much luck beyond that throughout the course of the last few years. Their Zune player, while functional, it never really reached the heights that the team was really hoping that it would. A new tablet would be right up their ally. Of course, they have not stated whether or not the new tablet will be the book-style dual display tablet as the Courier was supposed to be. They haven’t even gone as far as to confirm the rumors, but the sources that stated it are very reliable with the company rumors.

Microsoft to Launch Own Tablet Sometime Next YearHopefully this tablet will be better than the previous devices that the company has released for Microsoft’s sake. They have been able to release a solid operating system for mobile devices such as unlocked Dell Streak, HTC HD7, etc.. and now it looks like they are looking to get into the mobile business their self. Since we are in the early days of the tablet market it is wide open and a large company like Microsoft will have no problem competing if they are able to put together a great option and market as an alternative to the iPad which already seems to have the market sewn up at this time.
