HTC S710 Cell Phone Review
The HTC S710 smartphone is one of the first handheld devices to use the new Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard OS. Encased in a slim, elegant design with an auto-sliding full QWERTY keyboard, with enhancements to its business and enterprise tools these HTC smartphones act more like a GSM phone than a PDA.
The quad-band HTC S710 is loaded with features that makes it great for conducting business, making phone calls, emailing and surfing the Web. Instead of a touch screen, twin soft keys placed on the top of a keypad with an oversized direction pad to provide easy movement through the menus.
Instantly receive emails through the Direct Push feature, while staying connected with contacts via Windows Live. The S710 smart phone also includes the new XT9 prognostic text messaging with spell correction and subsequent letter prediction to ensure quicker typing. The 2.4” QVGA resolution display makes it easy to view PDFs and documents wherever you go.
For fun, the S710 smart phone has a 2.0 megapixel camera with video capture and playback, Bluetooth capabilites and an integrated media player. The HTC also provides 64MB of onboard memory with a slot for added storage space from microSD cards. Although the S710 lacks 3G data compatibility, it comes with 802.11b/g Wi-Fi.
