amazing.. my friend just got the unlocked nokia n95 and he let me use it for a day. The GPS is phenomenal.. only problem is you have to download the map for your city. Nokia has a lot of maps. If you travel a lot, get a memory card with like 2GB space to store every city map. Cities are around 100 megs.

i've been waiting 6 months for this phone!! if the n95 is unlocked, will it work on t-mobile?

It works on any gsm carrier. Not only the phone is quad-band, but its also 3g, so you have nothing to worry about. I can't wait to get my n95 unlocked.

Got mine yesterday!! It tracks while you walk, the Nokia N95 is awesome! - bit pricey, but worth the money.
GPS 5 MegaPixel camera Quad 3G Phone MP3 Player - All I am missing is watching TV which will come with 3G soon!

I got the n95 on friday and the phone is honestly amazing. The camera is very good but it's not the best for night shots so a better flash is probably the only complaint. the software is great, the size is amazing and i got a lot of compliments on the style. the gps is working but you have to buy the maps for it to work properly. Overall for what you get the phone is worth the money.

I bought the nokia n95 unlocked from puremobile last week. The phone is amazing, the gps takes some time to connect and the camera flash is a bit weeak but other than that i would highly recommned it. i compared other stores and this site was the cheapest online and the shipping rate was very fair. If anyone finds any cool sites on where to get games for it please let me know. ciao!

I have been using the Nokia N95 unlocked for about one month and am very pleased with it. I was especially impressed with the GPS and 5.0 MP camera - just like a digital camera!
The only weakness of the N95 is the battery life. Otherwise one of the best mobile phones I've used...would definitely recommend it!

The Nokia N95 unlocked is one of the most feature-packed smart phones to date! 5-megapixel camera, advanced multimedia capabilities, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth are just a few of its' many features. The GPS works great and navigates you to your exact location - I love the voice commands! I use the MP3 player everyday for a couple of hours and have actually had no problems with battery life.
It's worth every cent!
PaulV on May 29, 2007
I had been using the rather large Nokia N93 and just got the unlocked N95. The biggest drain on the battery I would say would be the GPS with navigation activated. I would recommend an in car charger and would also suggest you switch off Bluetooth, wi-fi & set up battery saving options on it. I like the design of the N95 and find that the two way sliding & screen rotation make it more user friendly. This slider has everything you could ask for in a phone and has totally replaced my camera and MP3 player. The only thing missing is touch screen!
ashok on May 29, 2007
the nokia n95 is amazing. for all the features it has it's amazing. one complaint is the battery life, you have to charge it every single day. But other than that I would definitely recommend the n95.

i95 is way better then the iphone!!!!!!!!!!
i don't know much about phones but this phone has compelled me to write about the n95. the n95 is hands down, way better then the iphone. just look at the features, end of story. played with both phones and i'm hooked on the nokia and i used to hate nokias! i was waiting for the iphone for the longest time but the day i tried making a call, the earpiece on the phone burned my ear. i told them about that issue at the apple store and they were aware of it and told me there's nothing they can really do. how the hell does an earpiece on a cell phone get really hot?! and woohoo! iphone has google maps, so does every other real web browsing phone... the iphone cant send pics over MMS, wow, what a great phone(sarcasm intended)! iphone doesnt have 3G, the n95 does. iphone just sucks period and the technology has been in Japan for over a generation apparently. if i were to buy the iphone, i'd rather buy its fake counter part, the tphone. :) cheers and have fun with the n95. btw the battery life for the n95 is weak, just like the iphones but at least i can change the battery on the n95 in less then 30seconds. for the iphone you have to ship it to china and wait about 2 weeks. :) have fun with your n95!
n95 best smart phone for 2007 hands down!!!!

What is Sim Free? A sim free phone is a phone that is not
locked to the sim card of a specific carrier.
What is Unlocked? An unlocked phone is a phone that can work
with any sim card and/or GSM service provider. Please note that at least one
of the GSM Bands in the phone should match the GSM service prodiver's bands.
What is a Sim Card? A sim card is a small flat rectangle plastic
that contains a microchip. This microchips is the heart of your phone, it contains
your phone number, your address book, and the necessary information for your phone
to work. All sim cards look the same, but the microchip inside is different for
every GSM service provider.
What is a GSM service provider? A GSM service provider (carrier)
is a company providing you with a working line and phone number. To do this, they
will provide you with a sim card.
My GSM service provider does not have sim cards, why?
If your service provider does not have sim cards, then it does not use GSM
technology. Our phones will not work with non-GSM service providers.
What is GSM and non-GSM?
GSM is a mobile phone technology that uses TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access).
GSM stands for Global System for Mobile communications. The competing system is CDMA
(Code Division Multiple Access). GSM and CDMA are not compatible systems. If a phone
is designed for GSM, it will not be compatible with CDMA and vice-versa.
What are GSM Bands 900/1800/1900 Mhz? GSM technology can work on
up to 4 frequencies: 850 Mhz, 900 Mhz, 1800 Mhz, and 1900 Mhz.
Some GSM phones support all the bands or frequencies, or just a couple.
A dual band phone supports only two, usually 900/1900 or 850/1900.
A tri-band phone supports three bands, either 850/1800/1900 or 900/1800/1900.
A quad-band phone supports all GSM bands. Quad-band phones are able to
work with any and all GSM service providers.
On the other hand, GSM service providers support just a subset of all the GSM bands
available. Before buying a GSM phone, make sure the phone supports at least one
of the bands that your GSM service provider supports.
Do I need a contract to buy an Unlocked Phone?
No. A contract is required between you and the GSM service provider for you to
get a working phone line. A contract is not required between you and PureMobile.
No service plan included?
GSM service providers offer phones at discounted prices attached to their service
plans. The catch is these phones are locked to their sim cards. You cannot
use them with other GSM service providers. Our mobile phones are unlocked, they
reflect the real market price of a mobile phone and they are not locked to
a specific GSM service provider. That's why we do not attach any service plan to them.
What are 3G / HSDPA Bands?
3G is the 3rd Generation of mobile standards. 3G is also known as HSDPA or HSPA. 3G technology provides high speed data transfer which allows for a much richer multimedia experience on mobile devices. 3G technology allows for faster internet access, streaming tv and video, music and other types of entertainment content. A data plan with a GSM carrier is recommend to use 3G / HSDPA technology.
